•10:00 - done: Help plant flags at the park entrance to honor the 2771 free & enslaved laborers who built Union fortifications 163 years ago.
•10:00 - 3:00: 10th Illinois will be camped upon Fort Negley. Enjoy drilling & weapons demonstrations and see camp life in action.
•9:00 to Noon: Try your hand at knot-tying with Metro Parks Outdoor Recreation
•10:00 to Noon: Catch the monthly Fossil Finders program where you can dig for fossils to take home and enjoy hands-on activities related to Nashville's fossilized ancient marine life.

Come out tonight 5:00-10:00 for Juneteenth615! In addition to performance stage, food trucks, and fireworks, the visitors center will be open, park staff and @NegleyFriends will be providing regular tours, and there will be fossil activities and stone splitting demonstrations.
All Metro Parks offices are closed in observance of Juneteenth today. We will resume normal business hours on Friday, June 20. Please join us at @FortNegley for the Juneteenth615 celebration from 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. tonight. Come enjoy live performances, history, and fireworks!
