“As we celebrate Veterans Day, I ask that you take a moment to honor and remember those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. We know that freedom is not free.
I am proud to celebrate our team members who are Veterans, and the family members who have served our nation with pride and courage. Generations of service have made America the Land of the Free—because of the Brave.
Please take time to read their stories and thank them for their service. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and sacrifice.”

Today, we proudly honor Frank, part of our MainStay Suites family, whose dedication to service runs deep through generations.
Frank served in the U.S. Army, following in the footsteps of his father, Henry, who bravely served during the Korean War. Continuing the family legacy, Frank’s son, Frank Jr., also joined the Army — and father and son shared the incredible honor of serving together in Iraq in 2006.
When asked what Veterans Day means to him, Frank shared:
“Veterans Day to me is honoring all personnel that have served honorably. Whether they are still serving or have. They have displayed the courage and honor to fight for the freedoms that we are allowed today. It is also a way or a day for saying thank you for your dedication to your nation and all that have served with you or beside you or before you.”
We’re deeply grateful for Frank, his family, and all who serve.
