My form of networking at the NWSA conference is becoming friends with a neighborhood cat who snuck into my Airbnb and was really sweet to me. I did return him to his owner but it was kinda hard to want to network with people after.

I forgot how to sign you're welcome when I tipped so I instinctively thanked them back when they thanked me. I guess awkwardness translates to every language π
This week, my research participants were on time with no tech difficulties and all very excited about the study. It's so nice when things go smoothly.
I feel very lucky as I was not as fortunate in my first few rounds of recruiting.
