Supported Intern Faye discovered a ladybird during her work placement at @MustHaveIdeasUK Wanting to keep it safe, she carefully moved it outside onto a tree so it could find a new home.

To help our Supported Interns prepare for their exams, we've been focusing on revision during Education Days.

Our Tutor has provided clear, supportive notes and past papers to help interns build confidence ahead of their exams.

As part of @AmazonUK's Fun Friday, our Supported Interns took part in a @starwars-themed hunt around the warehouse. Each intern used a tick sheet to find pictures of Star Wars characters hidden throughout the site, with a prize for the winner once completed.

Supported Intern Liam took part in a @DofE session, practising tent set-up as part of his training. The activity helped build key camping and teamwork skills, including pitching tents, organising equipment, and worked together outdoors. Great work, Liam!

Our Supported Interns recently took part in a Careers Advisor session, exploring next steps after F2E through interactive activities. They reflected on skills, placements and achievements to build confidence for future opportunities. Huge thanks to the Careers Advisor!

Supported Intern Liam has been attending @DofE sessions alongside Bradfields Academy students. For this session, the group spent time collecting wood for the fire and roasting marshmallows together.

It was a great opportunity for Liam to build teamwork and communication skills.

We’re delighted to welcome Emily Pearson as F2E’s new Tutor for our Supported Interns!

Emily brings SEND education experience across KS4/Post-16 and will support interns with English, Maths, work skills, computing and employability, helping young people achieve their potential!

Martin, one of our Supported Interns, passed his driving test! 🙌 👏

This is a fantastic achievement and another big step towards greater independence.

He has worked hard to reach this result, and we are delighted to celebrate his success with him.

Our Amazon Supported Interns recently took part in World Earth Day!

To mark the occasion, they wrote their sustainability ideas on leaves, which were then displayed on a tree. Their ideas included using public transport and reducing plastic packaging.

Supported Interns, Faye and Zach, recently attended the annual #Sweeps Festival in Rochester!

Zach’s eye-catching outfit was in honour of his role as a Pearly Prince—part of an English tradition where clothing is decorated with pearl buttons to help raise money for charity.

Crownwood Care Home had a visit from Bishop Gundulf Morris dancers! Kasie, our Supported Intern, got involved with the group and helped entertain the residents by joining in the session and supporting the activities alongside the team.

Our Employer Engagement Lead, Tina Pincott, had a wonderful Encounter session at Health Farm College last week. She had the opportunity to meet some fantastic students and discuss their post-16 options.

Riley has now been at @MedequipUK for over a month as part of his Supported Internship. He's been cleaning returned equipment so it's in good condition to be re-used, and assembling new stock – building his skills in following written instructions.

Supported Intern Fintan recently visited the opticians to collect his new glasses. He was able to inform the staff of his autism-related needs and express how the glasses felt on him to his peers and Job Coach. @FortisTrust

Today, F2E visited Parkwood Hall for their careers event!

We had some chats with students and families about our Supported Internship programme and the different pathways available after education.

Darren at DAKS Plumbing was unsure Supported Internships, but gave it a go with Peter. Peter started off quiet and struggled with customers, now he’s confidently chatting with them. Darren says Supported Internships give young people a chance and urges businesses to get involved!

Supported Intern Scott passed his Driving Theory Test! 🙌

Massive congratualtions to Scott who has worked incredibly hard, using every spare moment at F2E to revise. His Job Coach, Charlie, said she's so proud and excited to see Scott take another big step towards independence!

Supported Intern Liam's catering and cooking skills continue to grow at Food2Eat!

Recently, he has been getting involved with the hot cooking and prepping the fillings for the sandwiches.
