@DrewPavlou Honestly you have never met an actual Maoist.
The Dems in the US are far closer to their ideologies.
As Mao said "Marxism is many things but it basically all boils down to this - it is right to rebel"
That isn't Trumpism. That is what the Dems do.
@PawlowskiMario You haven't lived in China if you think that China is currently proper competition. She would be if the internal corruption wasn't there but that isn't the case.
@OptimizedPath @0liviajulianna Yes yes, it clearly had nothing to do with the fact that she couldn't talk about anything without reading off a prompter, and claimed she would do nothing different to the Bidenomics that nearly took the US to hyperinflation...
@BradWaltz67@BowesChay the Qin (20 model year). The suspension broke after less than a year. A mechanic told me that even if I got a new suspension it would probably break again in less than a year...
They used to be better made in the earlier models but its a real problem.
@rthomas86 Sure except the world isn't full of peacemakers and at times of war, not having the infrastructure to defend yourself or even be self sufficient is an absolutely massive problem. Something your analogy cannot encompass.
The same is true for medicine during pandemics (or war) etc.
@Jli40713248@unusual_whales Your argument is 100% illogical.
If she believes tariffs are good and necessary and the situation will be resolved quickly, she clearly therefore should think that over time the market will come to realize this and that this would be a massive buying opportunity...
@KnowaDeBaraso Either it's completely obvious to you and you are just being a deliberate troll, or your moral compass is so broken you can't tell the difference between a victim and someone who actively did immoral things for money and power.
@jefftimmer If the only issue with Hunter was his addiction, nobody would have a problem.
Also, I don't believe anyone even very sympathetic to him would say that Hunter was 10 years sober.
But that's for playing "totally inappropriate comparisons with a straight face" Better luck next time.
@akafaceUS I have lived in the majority of European countries. There are pros and cons with all of them.
At different times different ones were the best - the UK was the best in the 90s for example.
Switzerland is the most consistently good one however
@shaunrein You have never lived in China. China has a LOT of problems.
This COULD be China's century if and only if they get rid of the CCP and change many things internally.
What everyone is missing in terms of manufacturing is that the US MUST do a lot more manufacturing going forward to survive just geopolitically speaking.
Furthermore, factories will be about people working on robots which will be doing the actual building.
@thecyrusjanssen Given that Tesla managed to sell tech that is basically everything the iphone is plus a lot more software and cameras and add on a whole car on top of that for 40k, its pretty clear that the article is a lie.
@eeevuhhhh Wait, wait? The roommate whose cat vomited suggested that you could clean it up because they want to be communistical or something like that?
@MasonW4636344@DreamLeaf5 Oh and the guy who disagreed blocked me before I could give him the links
https://t.co/2C3WQmXEGH
https://t.co/dTUjJg4oCY
The first link is the connection between IQ and chess playing ability and the second includes an example of the kurtosis.
@MasonW4636344@DreamLeaf5 And the statement in that article is utterly false. There is very good evidence that chess playing ability is linked to IQ, and as I mentioned the kurtosis of men vs women in their distribution is higher.
