The Herald's coverage of the Jets may look a little different in the coming weeks. https://t.co/6AV66R0GrJ

The time is right to introduce an annual Australian Super Cup match between the winners of ALeague and Australian Championship. It’s easy to implement and has big broadcast appeal. AFC should be lobbied to allow the winner to receive ACL spot given there is no Pro/Rel in ALeague

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@smfcmike @smfc Should sign Jason Davidson also!

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@PaulMavroudis @smfcmike @smfc @NeosKosmos Did their resident South hater have anything to write or has he retired?

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@SrSittingBull @PaulMavroudis How did he rearrange the constitution? That normally requires members to vote on accepting the amendments

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

It may not be the biggest prize we have won, but it is our biggest achievement

@PaulMavroudis ….and chucked alongside a Jaritto bottle

When you’re coaching a cup final at 7:30pm but had to do 90% of your Gorbachev cosplay prep for the Soviet party at 9:30pm #AustraliaCup #SMBvMVC

So Hellas pinched another trophy on penalties at Swan St. It's OK Victory fans, it's been 35 years and Knights fans still haven't gotten over it.

We are half way there…but for now we have Asian Champions League 2!

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

As a lifelong SMFC fan, I want 3 things before we are ever admitted to the A-League:

* Win the Australian Cup

* Ensure the future of the Australian Championship is guaranteed

* Guaranteed roadmap to promotion/relegation with Aleague

(2nd and 3rd point probably go together)

@fcgreenandgold @SMEMUFC @smfcmike And the one that will answer many questions on the minds of football fans in this country no mater what corner of the ring they are in

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@fcgreenandgold @SMEMUFC @smfcmike This time round it is South Melbourne vs Melbourne Victory, a hometown derby and the first meeting between the two and both are giants of their respective worlds. This is the one that shows the true potential of what traditional clubs can offer to the top flight…….

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@smfcmike @fcgreenandgold @SMEMUFC @smfc Chant for Saturday, “You’re just a fantasy football team”

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@bawv1959 And Hattrick SMFC has outlasted Hattrick MVFC 😉

[Foti Stavrakis @FotiStavrakis]

@smfcmike @fcgreenandgold @SMEMUFC @smfc Im surprised you didn’t mention that MVFC was a https://t.co/0QP9angsyB team with the exact same badge in 2001 😀

[Michael Lynch @MichaelLynchy]

If the credibility of the Premier League is now about to be shot to smithereens, perhaps disillusioned fans might start attending some of their local lower or non league teams? Wishful thinking? Perhaps, but who know what the law of unintended consequences brings

[CE-LFC @CELfc97]

Ted Lasso, You are a Premier League Champion.
