@mackenziechild yes, i really hope your app gets approved from the first time. If ever rejected, please keep in mind that this is a normal learning path fro app store, typical startups go through multiple rounds of rejections, sometimes even big companies like banks face app store rejections...
we're probably 6–18 months away from a world where:
- obesity is basically solved
- balding actually gets fixed, real hair regrowth
- biological age becomes something you can push backwards
- fertility stops being locked to a biological countdown clock
- cancer treatment looks less like chemo and more like software: sequence the tumor, design the fix, treat it
- some genetic diseases get erased with a single treatment
- lab-grown organs become a real option
- drugs get designed faster than human teams can test them
- autonomous labs run thousands of experiments overnight while everyone sleeps
- your doctor gets a biological dashboard that catches disease before you feel a symptom
- personalized medicine means getting a treatment designed specifically for your biology
2026 is changing the stakes
we're extrapolating from things that are already working

everyone told me to play it safe.
keep the job. build on the side. quit once it gets traction.
I did exactly that for 7 years.
nights after the 9 to 5. weekends. holidays.
5+ products. $0.
then I quit my job and went all-in on one product.
the first 6 months: stuck at $100 MRR.
the next 8 months: $15k MRR.
playing it safe cost me 7 years.
the paycheck kept me comfortable.
the safety net gave me an excuse to keep starting over.
going all-in took both away.
one product. full focus. nowhere to hide.
that's what made the difference.

for a startup founder right now the paradox is that this may be the best & worst time to start a company.
the opportunity surface is basically infinite cuz ai keeps collapsing the cost of building, experimenting, & entering new markets. but the durability of any individual advantage is collapsing faster than ever too. anything obviously valuable gets copied, bundled, or commoditized incredibly fast. before you can even blink.
& worse now the big guys are shipping fast too so in many ways you’re kind of running downhill while meta, openai, anthropic, etc. are driving behind you even faster in a giant luxury bus with the high beams turned on to the max.
