Theres a big chance you wont see this, but theres a good chance you might and its definitely worth a shot.
I’m one of the people that fell victim to MONIIFY.
The carnage that happened. The shutting down of the entire newsroom, and in a couple of hours we were made redundant.
Now to be fair, the idea is great, the vision is immaculate, and the ethos is unique. Diving deep into emerging markets and like you said ‘go into places that nobody wants to go to ” is top tier advice. We took your vision and turned it into reality, with that MONIIFY was born. We are the people behind this, we are the people behind the voice of MONIIFY, we are the people that laid the groundwork, we are the people who beat media tycoons at their best game, we are the people that made MONIIFY second to none.
Our stories were refined, articulate, and powerful, they made MONIIFY shine and they’re what made you speak highly of it.
The same group of people who left stable jobs and moved continents to come and join a company we didn’t even know the name of, thats how big the leap of faith was. Thats how much we trusted your name.
I might not know much, but i have never seen a more competent group of people come together. From our youngest to our oldest, all with an exceptional journalistic skillset and most importantly, like you always say, hard work mentality.
We delivered and you failed to reciprocate.
Naguib, not only have you let us down, but you also just lost world class talent.

Making laws, especially for a fast-evolving sector like crypto, is far from straightforward. And while Trump might have the loudest voice in the conversation, he won’t automatically get what he wants.
One potential route, is that once @GaryGensler leaves in late January, the government decides the US essentially doesn’t need any specific crypto laws.
“That simple change would effectively deregulate crypto without the need for any legislation,” says Martin Auerbach, a former US Department of Justice lawyer, and consultant at law firm @WithersLLP
