@BS_Detective_@MightyMatty2000@Hockey_Is_All Then why did Kucherov win and Vasilevskiy also finish in the top 10?
Many players can deserve consideration as highly valuable for different reasons.
Though I would think that if one person voted for all 3 that's a very different story. Should be 1 vote per team.
@CrookedDaSoup@Exiled_Canadian@jpolly22 Sure, Tampa having a full healthy lineup would have impacted the series. But Montreal didn't have Dobson for 6 games and he was far from his best in game 7. Also didn't have Laine all season. That's nearly 20M worth of players out of the lineup, which the Habs could have used.
@HaasF1Team@Canes I used to like you guys but now... I hope you have a miserable weekend and both your cars DNF both the Sprint and Grand Prix in the most pathetic way.
@LassStats@NHL_Muse Nitpicking once again. You're completely and utterly delusional if you don't understand Makar is the greatest Defenseman in the game right now.
@tavkniesnythews@the_habitant Hi Jen, I actually supported the Leafs when they were the last Canadian team left a few years ago. But still, Leafs fans completely gatekept me and constantly mocked me for being a Habs fan while Montreal was 28th. Our fanbases are just never going to get along 😂
@LassStats@NHL_Muse So you're telling me that 60% of the time he's good or even great even without them being on the ice?
Also I watch hockey with my eyes, not with a goddamn chart, and Makar is generational. You can make stats say anything you want by nitpicking, but that will never change.
@LassStats@NHL_Muse Where did you pull that stat out from?
And as you can see there's a shitload of Defensemen with worse differentials than -51. Some of whom have won Stanley Cups... So IDK where you got that data from but that's BS.
@GodBless__USA__@NHL_Muse Adam Fox used to be in this list but he's definitely not anymore. Add any of Morrissey, Bouchard and LaCombe to that list too.
@jepal77@habs_burner Oh 100%! I think Makar is above and beyond the best Dman in the world. He already is in the discussion for one of the 4-5 greatest Dmen to ever play the game. Might be top 2 by the end of his career.
@cbsguy63@jarvybradly I've been following the Habs for 23 years and my dream is to see them win the Cup but we gotta be realistic here bud. Canes are healthy and rested, Habs are roughed up and exhausted. They barely survived last night, and Carolina is a much better team than BUF. Shouldn't be close.
Habs just didn't want to play in Montreal on Saturday night and take away from the Grand Prix festivities in town, so they let game 6 go to the Sabres to win game 7 and ensure they only play in Montreal on Monday. Such good lads...
