When London puts up signs saying "A New Dawn"... what else was I supposed to do? 😂🌅
We headed to Victoria to see the new installation, meet some amazing people and have a bit of fun along the way.

Dolly Parton was a true inspiration and a class act. Her life was defined not only by music but service to others.
After my Conference speech in 2019, I was honoured to receive a wonderful book from Dolly herself.
Fan for life! Rest in peace, Dolly. Your legacy lives on.
(1) My name is Mrs T, and I took my trafficker to court and won. For nearly ten years, I was trafficked between my home country, the Gulf, and the UK. I worked 18-hour days, slept on the floor, wasn’t allowed to leave the house alone, and I was paid far below minimum wage.
🎬 WATCH. LISTEN. SHARE. Behind every goodbye is a story of sacrifice.
“Swing” is more than a song—it’s the voice of domestic workers rising through pain, loss & hope.

Many migrant domestic workers continue to experience significant exploitation in their work. Our Future Voices programme seeks to share their stories and champion their rights. Discover how we're making a difference here: https://t.co/j7UqkUShnC #VODWFutureVoices
Over the past year we've uncovered how the UK's seasonal worker visa is riddled with exploitation.
Today we can reveal that the Home Office knew workers were being mistreated, failed to investigate & then tried to stop the allegations from coming to light

We are calling for Labour government to reinstate the rights of domestic workers - right to change employer w/out restrictions, right to renew the Overseas Domestic Worker Visa, right to settlement & right to British Citizenship. We are Domestic Workers, we fight for our rights.
Making work visas more flexible is the #1 action this government can take to tackle the rising exploitation of care workers.
As the Lord Bishop of Bristol Vivienne Faull @Bishopviv1 says, cases of modern slavery are surging in the care sector. Workers must be able to leave an exploitative workplace and take their labour where they are treated with respect and dignity.
OUT TODAY our report #12yearsofmodernslavery exposes the myths used to deny rights to domestic workers since 2012, trapping them with abusive employers. This cannot continue. We urge the incoming Govt to reinstate rights & protect all workers. Report here: https://t.co/SZen4e1d2v
Ahead of the General Election, we ask that all parties renew their commitment to tackling modern slavery in the UK and around the world, and commit to:
🕊️Preventing Modern Slavery
🩹Prioritising Sustainable Recovery
⚖️Upholding Justice

The criminal offense for undocumented workers in the Immigration Act 2016 should be repealed, and employment rights should be separated from immigration status, enabling workers to claim their rights regardless of their status

Protect Migrant Domestic Workers' Rights! UK's changes to the Overseas Domestic Worker visa have worsened abuse. Limited visa terms and no settlement options trap workers in exploitative conditions. Support our Campaign https://t.co/GuD2hd8b5V
