π§βπ€βπ§Staff members for our Prosper financial programs got their first look at their new workplace last week. You may have heard that we are moving our Prosper Center North this month to Braker Lane just east of N Lamar, the former location of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
π₯ A big part of the Summer Program for our on-site Learning Centers is field trips. Students from Daffodil Apartments visited the Central Texas Food Bank yesterday. They learned how the food bank grows, receives, sorts, stores and distributes various food items.
The incredible partnership between the corporate volunteers from Texas Mutual Insurance and the Learning Center at The Jordan at Mueller was on full display last Friday. The annual JAMboree water fun day brought volunteers and students together for food, snacks and summer fun.

On Saturday the annual 5k Color Run at the Sierras took place at our Sierra Vista Apartments. Itβs the culmination of 8 weeks of training for 3rd β 5th graders from two of our Learning Centers. Students made their way around the course at times getting doused with colored powder!
π΅ We have more major funders to recognize for helping us build Norman Commons Apartments - Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation (TSAHC) for providing a $31.5 million tax-exempt bond, and $1.75 million from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas.
Wells Fargo helped Foundation Communities build Norman Commons with $19.2 million in loans. At our Ribbon Cutting, Chris Rios, a regional vice president with Wells Fargo, arrived with a HUGE check for $100,000 to support financial coaching and wraparound services for residents.
