The Gutu Galang Kalyan Trust #FPC situated in Pakur district of Jharkhand, a women-led Farmer Producer Company supported by @onlineJSLPS , has been awarded the “Agri Market Liaison and Forward Linkage Champion Award” at the National Nutrition & Biofortification Scaling Workshop organized by @HarvestplusI Solutions in New Delhi. The award recognizes the Farmer Producer Company's outstanding role in strengthening market linkages and promoting sustainable agricultural value chains through biofortified crop cultivation in Jharkhand.
The Trust has promoted Zinc Wheat, Calcium Finger Millet, Zinc Paddy, and Iron Pearl Millet, benefitting thousands of farmers and addressing malnutrition through biofortified nutri-cookies for #PVTG children. As an exclusive PVTG women-led FPC, it stands as a strong example of women’s leadership in combating hidden hunger.

A dialogue on grassroots innovation was organized jointly by ISDG Research Foundation and Yojak, bringing together prominent organizations working in rural areas of Jharkhand.
Representatives from 15 different organizations across the state participated in the dialogue, emphasizing the need to establish a grassroots innovation network in Jharkhand. Kapil Sahasrabudhe from Yojak provided an overview of ongoing efforts at the national level.
