Great news, schools in the Alexandra Academy Trust are raising funds for JSF. Jon was a pupil at @monkscop so we have a close connection. Thank you to all for choosing us to benefit from your sports days. Have lots of fun. #independenceinepilepsy#epilepsyawareness

@markbickerdyke This is fantastic, I grew up in Gawthorpe so the Coal Race is a special race to me. Thank you Mark. Did you have a grandma, great grandma live on Lodge Hill Road, we’re talking 1960s.
Jon Shaw Foundation was registered in memory of Jon, he should be 25 today but we lost him to SUDEP in June 2019. We should have known about the risk, we didn’t.

To Jon Shaw Foundation, we extend our deepest gratitude. Your assistance has made a profound difference in our lives, and we are so thankful for your support. As a family, we are committed to continuing this journey with love
Thank you for helping us keep our family safe.
Although Raven and Hunter are now adults, they still require constant care, especially due to the risk of Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Jon Shaw Foundation has been incredibly generous, their kindness has helped ease some of our burdens.
This year our theme is inspiring independence in epilepsy to reflect the bedrock of our charity objectives. Keep watching our socials leading up to the 26th for news about what we’re doing, & how you can help. @BBCRadioStoke@CreweNub@CheshireLive@RagNBoneMan@TommyFreemo15
