I also asked if NY will retain the coaching staff or if the new HC will be able to name her or his staff.

Daoust expects the new coach will have an opportunity to weigh into their coaching staff. He mentioned earlier the team will cast a wide net to find the right candidate.

On the PWHL New York media availability with GM Pascal Daoust. I asked if player feedback played into the decision to mutually part ways with Howie Draper.

Daoust wouldn't go into specific details but did say exit interviews are part of his end-of-season process

How have they not fired Howie Draper yet? The players have been calling for it all year. He’s buried players killing their careers, he’s made no changes, and the comments coming out of this team are negative and toxic. They need change. #PWHL
