"More missiles" sounds impressive until you remember wars aren't won by counting rockets in a warehouse. Training, accuracy, logistics, air superiority, intelligence, and the ability to eliminate launchers matter far more than raw inventory. Having more doesn't mean they'll survive long enough—or get through—to make the difference.
Calling millions of people ‘scum’ and declaring an entire movement criminal is apparently easier than explaining which specific bill, which specific provision, and how it supposedly ‘steals elections forever.’ But I guess outrage is a lot easier to manufacture than a coherent argument.
Amazing how political opponents suddenly become historians of MAGA’s group chat. Yes, some people criticized Mike Johnson before — just like people criticize nearly every politician. That’s called politics, not a conspiracy. And apparently ‘DOGE is dead’ now means ‘its ideas didn’t vanish overnight and were absorbed elsewhere,’ which is a strange definition of death. By that standard, every government initiative that gets reorganized is a funeral.
“Cutting ALL foreign aid” was never the actual goal — the goal was to stop wasting American taxpayer dollars on programs that don’t serve U.S. interests. Mike Johnson was never “Satan”; he was simply a relatively unknown politician who quickly became a target because he represented conservative priorities. And DOGE wasn’t “murdered” — it evolved, with its ideas and efforts being absorbed into existing government structures to continue the fight against waste, fraud, and bureaucracy.
Sure Grok, but "Removing jealousy" resolves the discomfort, not the inequity. Verses 7:43 and 15:47 describe rancor stripped from the hearts of people who'd been enemies or rivals in life — that's a narrower claim than "no one will ever mind an asymmetric arrangement." Stretching it to cover marital jealousy specifically imports a conclusion the verses don't actually state. And even granting the stretch: saying "she won't feel bad about it" doesn't establish that the arrangement was equal, it just stipulates away anyone's capacity to object to it. If someone proposed resolving unequal treatment on earth by re-engineering the disadvantaged party to stop minding, most people would recognize that as evading the fairness question, not answering it.
“Women receive reunion with their pious spouses.” But that raises an obvious question: if a righteous man’s reward includes multiple companions in Paradise, does that mean his earthly wife is simply expected to accept becoming one among many? Some interpretations even suggest extremely large numbers of companions.
The response is usually that she will not feel jealousy or sadness because Paradise is described as a place free from negative emotions (Qur’an 7:43, 15:47). In other words, the argument is that God will remove those feelings so she is content with the arrangement.
The question remains: is this genuine fulfillment of desire, or is it fulfillment after God changes the person’s feelings about something they might naturally object to?
If Islam is supposedly so far ahead on women’s rights, then the discussion should be based on evidence: equal inheritance, freedom of marriage, divorce rights, legal testimony, leadership roles, and individual autonomy.
"Women have more rights" is easy to say. Proving it requires looking at the actual rules and how they have been applied.
Funny how the paradise descriptions often get very detailed about what men receive — virgins, pleasure, rewards — but the women's side of the brochure seems to have been left blank.
So the question remains: if the system is built around equality, why does the reward package seem so heavily marketed toward men?
@MakiTheSalafi Funny how the paradise descriptions get very detailed when it comes to what men receive — companions, pleasure, and rewards — but when it comes to women’s side of the equation, the details suddenly become a little… light.
I can’t believe what I just heard…
Bill Maher vows to FIGHT AGAINST rise of Communism within the Democratic Party.
He says no matter what, he WILL NOT live in a Communist America.
The Democrats are losing EVERYONE!!!
"I’m not living in Communist America… I’ve read the quotes from the DSA platform, from their own mouths. Don’t tell me I’m not seeing what I am seeing.”
🚨 BILL MAHER: I’M OUT — DEMOCRATS GONE FULL RADICAL
Even Bill Maher is tapping out.
“Democrats are cowardly… Their party is being TAKEN OVER by radicals. When we’re cheering for the Intifada, I’M OUT.”
Do you worship the same God?
At Sinai, God spoke the Ten Commandments face to face (Deut. 5:4). He wrote them Himself. Twice, on stone. Placed them in the Ark of the Covenant . Called the covenant eternal. He warned : “You shall not add to it nor take away from it” (Deut. 4:2, 12:32). Even a prophet with signs & wonders must be rejected if he leads away from what God commanded (Deut. 13). Isaiah 8:20 seals it: “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” The test isn’t miracles or followers — it’s fidelity to the original commandments given at Sinai. Muhammad brought a new law, new scripture, and new commandments that replace rather than uphold the Ten Commandments, that disqualifies him as a prophet of the God of Israel.
So why follow Muhammad?
@harryjsisson Imagine being so trapped in a political bubble that you believe millions of people can't enjoy a football game, music, or a celebration of culture unless they share your politics.
@Hardus_Hartzenb@JamesKowalski88 The point was simple: people can be sincerely convinced and still be wrong. Conviction is not evidence, and belief is not proof.
The irony is calling millions of voters "stupid" while ignoring the economic record. Democrats have embraced socialism openly. Countries that embrace socialist economic systems have repeatedly struggled with shortages, stagnation, and loss of innovation. Free markets aren't perfect, but removing the incentives that drive productivity doesn't magically create prosperity.
