It should be applied no matter who is in power. The public deserves answers, not deflection.

People tried that by voting for the Conservatives for 14 years.

They were betrayed every single time because the Conservatives didn't truly believe in doing what their voters wanted.

Now we have Reform that doesn't truly believe in doing what is needed. They opposed mass deportations, but flip-flopped after polls showed the public favoured them. Add to that the clip above of Farage, and you get to see what they really think.

They have also happily welcomed Tories into Reform who were happy to be part of the Conservatives who betrayed us before.

We do not have any more time to waste.

Until we can forcibly return them, it is the only option.

They would receive a tent and 3 VERY basic meals a day. NOTHING else.

If ex-army bases are used, we can have the army guarding the perimeter to ensure none of them can come into contact with the general public.

They will choose to leave if we state clearly that nobody coming from a safe country qualifies as an asylum seeker.

The rest would stop heading here as they would have absolutely no reason to.

It will work faster than building what is needed to take the force option, but I have nothing against using it when it becomes possible.

None of the people crossing the channel on small boats should be allowed to roam freely in public. They should be kept in secure facilities.

We have no way to check who many of these people are and all of them broke into the country for economic reasons and not for genuine asylum, considering there is no war in France, and they were safe there.

Too many of our women and children have had their lives destroyed because multiple governments refused to protect them.

The main job of any British government is to put the safety of the British people first.

They have failed.
