I reflected on the strenuous fight I've endured this year for a diagnosis and the right medical team. She returned quietly, sat down emotional, grabbed my hand to apologize. She acknowledged that she should have listened and provided the space for me to articulate what's going on

I gave her my symptoms, and she automatically placed it as a “cold. Instead of examining my health records, which document an ongoing battle with illness, she dismissed my pain and concerns, advising me to purchase medication.

Today, I expressed to a doctor that she doesn't listen to me because I'm a black woman. She looked at me shocked, and asked me why would I say that.

I replied, explaining that I approached her with tiredness in my eyes, indicating that something was wrong with me.

My deadbeat bd moved states on me so I asked him for his address & told him it was for my daughter’s school emergency contacts when it was really for child support😭 why would you really think it’s for her emergency contact? You’re not even a regular contact🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🫵🏾
