It looks like it will be practically useful for my work, not just a neat feature.

Here's a big way you can make life harder for your designer.

Tell them exactly what to do.

You lock them into sub-optimal solutions which cause problems.

Better is feedback like:

Too busy
Bland
Wrong tone
Wrong colors

Let the designer fix those problems.

I'm experimenting with generative AI recoloring in Illustrator.

I already love it.

This beta feature lets you almost instantly recolor your illustrator artwork by using verbal prompts.

Interested to see if this becomes a new go-to tool.

And you don't want to spend eternity outputting them one at a time?

Don't rush.

There's a tendency for designers to jump right into designing.

But the magic comes from knowing the brand inside and out.

In other words, research.

I like to spend a lot of time up front learning all about the product before putting own to paper.

If your gradient meshes in Illustrator aren't blending properly, you may be using spot colors.

For some reason they don't work right.

Just change the color slightly and it should work.

If you're searching for Adobe fonts, I suggest going through the website rather than the drop down menu in their software.

The website is so much faster and easier to use.

If you have to touch up nasty artwork with jpeg artifacts, "add grain" with the Photoshop camera raw filter might be your best friend.

Spend time optimizing the flow of information.

Give the eyes a perfect path to follow.

The slides in your pitch deck are to complement your talk, not to deliver all the same information as you.

Less is more. Impact.
