This is the most tornado-prone place in the world in terms of total path length/width.
Slightly longer average path lengths even than in conventional “Tornado Alley”.
Southern Mississippi/Alabama represent the hotspot of virtually every sinister metric.
@MatthewCappucci@nicos1205 Matthew, as crazy as it sounds, I told a younger colleague of mine last week that in the 27 years that I’ve been forecasting professionally, I do not think it’s gotten any easier or more accurate. May sound ridiculous given the amazing technology we have now.
@Barkley_Tap Everybody gets criticized. He’s a 2x MVP (and probably should have gotten a third). He’s widely viewed as a spectacular athlete and passer. Not sure what else you can ask for. Playoff success would quiet any criticism I presume.
