The Louisiana Department of Justice has completed its report on the 2025 New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans and is currently in conversations with the city and our other law enforcement partners in preparation for January 1 and Mardi Gras. Due to the sensitive security nature of the report, we will release its findings in the near future, as appropriate. I continue to be encouraged by the federal, state, and local collaborative focus on making sure that the city is safe this holiday season and into the new year.
