I love my job when I get to help run days like these ones. Last weekend we planted in partnership with @BFOMR and in memory of loved ones - this weekend we planted a food forest in partnership with @anishnabeg . Fulfilling ways of spending my Saturday’s.🧡☀️

Today we honoured loved ones with #Kitchener’s first microforest in Voisin Park where Kitchener residents gathered to plant 100 trees & shrubs. This initiative is in partnership with @BFOMR & @SustainableWat & supported by the Government of Canada’s 2 Billion Trees commitment.
