@MarcLutz The exception to the door thing of course being sliding doors on vans or cars with suicide doors. At least if the doors open in front of you and someone is making a move to grab you, you can go on the offensive and slam into the door with your foot and pin them
@RunGearGuy Wooly hand-knit mittens win me@over every time! Maybe I have hot hands? But no โfancy schmancyโ gloves will ever do better than my wooly mitts in this brutal polar vortex
@littlerunner77 Oh man RIP hair! As someone who loves her some short hair I can assure that hairstylists who know how to cut short hair cuts on women vs hair stylists who just cut hair short on womenโs heads are the difference between night and day. Best of luck!
@Alyssa_Milano This hurts my heart. When I was in Kindergarten we learned songs about manners, friendship, kindness and silliness. Not about hiding from a shooter. I donโt kid myself that this wonโt ever be a reality in Canada but I am beyond thankful that itโs not yet.
@GrowthInFitness Home gym! (Before we had a baby Iโd say gym but itโs so darn convenient to just go downstairs for weights and a run when the kidlet has gone for a nap)
I donโt want to get too cocky BUT we have a step challenge at work (most steps in 2months wins) and I THINK I might have this in the bag.... between training for a half & 3-10K races coming up I might have a slight advantage.
@TheMightySite When I catch my thoughts going in circles and instead of sticking to my tried/true paper โto-doโ list I start putting sticky notes around my computer to remind me of all the REALLY important things I need to do (as if Iโd ever let those items ever escape my mind!)
Things that make me smile like a fool: lifting heavier weights than I could before, finishing a gruelling run and my fave- listening to my baby boy chirping away, talking to himself in his crib as he starts to fall asleep
@MelissaKahn7 That hardship is NOT a competitive event. Just bc you had things (seemingly) harder, does not mean another persons struggle is easier for them.
