@WanderingSadu I'm sure we use more than we should but we both like strong coffee. We're usually tea in the morning, coffee later, but the heat recently has put us off hot drinks.
I didn't want short hair for years because I'd been made to keep it short my whole childhood. I was told at 35 I should think about having shorter hair because older women should.
Now 20 years later I want shorter hair and I'm told it makes me look too old, lol.
We slept late. I got up 10ish and made scrambled eggs, we ate them in bed. Now he says he's getting up to get breakfast. I pointed out he had eggs an hour ago. He said "That was pre-breakfast, I'm going to get actual breakfast."
How am I just realising I married a hobbit?
DH is scared of bugs.
DH has been told several times that windows and curtains open plus light on equals bugs, but has not, it seems, fully understood.
Kind of looking forward to him freaking out at the moth or crane fly that bounces between his phone and his face later π
@HedgehogCabin@ReallyUsefuls I'm kind of a fan girl. Would you mind if I send them your post? I'm not sure if the guy who used to run the company still does but he seemed quite a character.
@ReallyUsefuls is this one of your boxes? I was already a fan, I don't buy any other brand for storage, but... cute baby hedgehogs! So many hedgehog rescues and helpers use them too. They make a really good feeding station, although they need a hole cut in the side for that.
New mum Anya has dug to the bottom of her bed box, and sleeps there, nursing her babies.
On the bare plastic, with all the lovely special moisture-wicking vet bed and soft fleece blankets piled on top of them.π€¦ββοΈ
Anya gave birth on the 10th June and she is still hands off, bonding with her precious new babies, but this is the view from underneath, looking up into the bottom of the box.
And yes I'm busting to get in there to clean and sort it all out for her, but it's very important that she is left in peace, while her babies are so young.
But just look at those darling little hands!π
I think I can see 4, possibly 5 babies.
Today's "see ya, I'm gone" song after my shift was this. Much as I love the 80s I have to admit the 90s also had some good bits. https://t.co/T6aCREqUhp
Seeing Kraftwerk last week was an unforgettable experience.
What amazes me is that for decades this music group has had the word "twerk" in its name and to date not one single snowflake has complained about it.
Blimey.
@toys_retro I had this on vhs recorded from TV, I watched this part over and over again because it looked like it rotated as it elongated. I was mesmerised.
