@Adrian__Baker 2/2 The bags are designed to lift up to 6 times the weight that is normally put in them but that doesn't mean that they wont suddenly break if filled twice and lifted multiple times. Think of the man beneath the bag filling the drill.

Concerned! Received flyer from mobile seed cleaning business, encouraging the use of old bags! They advocate checking the bags but bags supplied by the certified industry are classed as "one trip" only. i.e. Not safe to be reused! Remember the concerns farmers had in 2020 1/3

@Adrian__Baker Sarah is correct that we now use bags with a greater content of recycled material but i don't think they are any weaker. As i said you can buy multi trip bags but the industry uses a bag that is designed to be filled once only. The filling and stretching weakens the bag.. 1/2

In 2020 when growers had seed on farm for 12 months before drilling it, there was huge concern about the condition of bags. Reusing old bags is worse, they have been stretched in there first use and do not return to their original strength. 2/3
