“Our club has lost its way," states Foxes Trust. King Power has done so much for Leicester City over its 16-year ownership. So many memories. The 5,000-1 title fairy-tale. European adventures. FA Cup glories. The magnificent training ground. And the late, great, much-missed Vichai will never be forgotten – as a chairman, benefactor and as a man who cared about people and did so much for the club and the city.
But the Leicester fans surveyed on the club’s future, and the 75% who supported a change in ownership, are right. It is good news that King Power has put the club up for sale – provided the right new owners are found. Owners who listen more to fans, who appoint the right executives, who don’t let things drift and wake up in League One.
“Five years ago, our club was an established Premier League side with a strong squad, academy, reputation and facilities to its name, not to mention recent silverware. Since then the alarming decline of our club, both on and off the pitch, has been disastrous.” @FoxesTrust #LCFC
The club have received a further allocation of 1,682 tickets for MK Dons. Supporters with a booking history will be able to purchase from tomorrow at 8am.
