Theres nothing wrong with liking what you like but I do believe map preference is somewhat correlated to skill. Payload maps are easy to understand and have an objective that needs constant presence. The other maps have more nuance in how they play and allow for higher level play

@Veilynne In a mirror map the positional advantage of winning a fight is identical for each team, unlike cart maps where certain maps are extra annoying to attack/defend. In ranked at least defensive heroes are easy to punish and the map design makes spammy long range comps weaker

@Veilynne I prefer mirror maps like control and flashpoint (push is mid) because having a defensive position is a reward for a fight win. And since it’s a constant push and pull of attack and defense it forces players to play active heroes and playstyles making for more fun games
