@real_moneyshot@cositsonmyphone@Lewis_BGA@AVintenAuthor I can assure you that before they have event to hand over firearms to untrained officers, the firearms are proven to be unloaded.
Part of being an AFO is cleaning and maintaining weapons. I will use the trigger during this to test function, as I know it is unloaded.
@real_moneyshot@cositsonmyphone@Lewis_BGA@AVintenAuthor They really can't be inserted incorrectly.
Met Police employ armourers whose it is to maintain weapons, ammo, and to issue them.
No-one is altering ammo or breach flags in the Police. Any damaged ones would be discarded.
@real_moneyshot@cositsonmyphone@Lewis_BGA@AVintenAuthor The flag can only be inserted one way.
The flag wouldn't be in use if it was cut.
The flags have no reason to be altered.
There are thousands of those breach flags in the Metropolitan Police, they're all the same.
@JustinKuntz1@MyNamesGuy Not in the Metropolitan Police.
Rule 1 - ALWAYS establish whether a weapon is loaded or unloaded, whenever you pick it up, hand it to, or take it from any person.
You can use your eyes and brain and figure it out.
@lotionorhose@Lewis_BGA@AVintenAuthor Probably the first time they held a gun.
And the gun in that condition won't be killing anyone else she beats them to death with it.
@lotionorhose@Lewis_BGA@AVintenAuthor If you know the weapon isn't loaded, you can do what you like with it.
If I clean a rifle, I'll check the trigger functions as it should, and I do so knowing it's safe to do so.
