@MagicalMysMalin@hajima_7 Especially since CSP is INFAMOUS for having one of the steepest learning curves because it has 4 billion menus
Like it’s a very good art program but Procreate is infinitely easier to use
shitting on procreate when it is the ONE art program that is vehemently anti AI, created by and for artists, and is as CHEAP as it POSSIBLY gets (SINGLE $10 PURCHASE) is just so fucking obscene to me. yall can have your adobe $50/mo sub forever if you want i guess???
I totally get why Procreate feels frustrating/insufficient to a lot of people, but as someone who only started digital art in adulthood, to me it feels less… overwhelming? Like I end up treating my digital work more like I would traditional art and, personally, I enjoy that.
procreate was built by a small indie team, is a fairly affordable one time purchase, is used by industry professionals and has a firm stance on generative AI unlike some other art programs (looking at one company in particular lol)
sadly you won’t see me hating on procreate!!
I deeply miss the world before AI existed. I’m so exhausted from side eyeing videos, recoiling at tacky fonts, sepia tinted art, the messy blobs and blips of unmatched colors. It’s slowly sucking all the creative life out of the world while it physically destroys it.
