For the first time since 1997 the month of August has seen no Atlantic tropical storms. However, three areas are being watched for storm development during the first few days of September.
@TLRailUK Actually it is not good value at all. I used to repay £350 per month on my STL Hitchin to Blackfriars, travel anytime. Now I spend approx £316 per month on flexipasses, for just 8 journeys. And I see it has just gone up.
@TLRailUK Yes. The transaction went through, he then voided that one but at the moment both transactions are showing as pending on my banking app with no indication of a void and I have now gone overdrawn. V concerned.
@TLRailUK not able to buy a flexipass at Hitchin this morning due to a system error. Had to use a daily ticket. Unacceptable. Other angry customers too. What went wrong? Explanation please?
@NigelCaseyHC @VirginAtlantic@ukinsouthafrica Delighted to hear this but £800 is such a lot of money when a return flight has already been paid for. So glad to hear it but this is tough. Didn't the people returning from Peru pay £250? Hard for my partner who has not been paid at all whilst stuck in SA.
@JamesDuddridge @NigelCaseyHC @ukinsouthafrica Great. So now we need some firm plans. My partner needs to come home. We are not asking for favours from the Government. People have PAID for their flights home. The airlines need to make commitments to get people home having cancelled their flights.
@BBCJLandale Can i just remind you of something after your irritating article. You fail to consider that people are not asking for a freebie to get home. People have PAID for their return flights. The airlines cancelled those flights. So the FCO should not have to pay the airlines again.
@foreignoffice @NigelCaseyHC Yes please Nigel. My partner in Cape Town trying to come home. A regular update after this announcement would be helpful. Silence is frustrating.
