Finally running full Any% runs again prepping for the FF Relay in a month and was finally able to get a sub9! Took long enough considering my last PB doesn't have a skip that saves 10+ minutes, but feels good to be at it again.

Hey gaming friends, anyone have any recs for games similar to Hyper Light Drifter/Death's Door? Aka "isometric action rpgs". Currently have Crypt Custodian on my wishlist, but finding "similar" games seems tough as action RPG is broad and steam tags are useless. Other ideas in 🧵

I've played, Hades 1/2, looking at Transistor. Bastion I tried once but it didn't stick. Similar games seem hard to find w/o some sort of sim/farm or other stuff included when I just want some fun combat, simply story. MVanias tend to be very hit or miss so ehh about them.

Caved and bought Animal Well today. Doing my usual booting up the game, checking settings to possibly stream later, but lo and behold, you can choose what type of buttons are displayed in the settings! Small detail but would love if more devs were able to do this.

Tonight we went to a "sports bar" with baseball in the background, uncommon in Japan. My buddy, who doesn't watch much baseball goes "NaNi" after a pitch. Then, the bartender, without missing a beat, drops a "Omae Wa Mou Shinderu" calling out his weeb ass and it was amazing.
