@Dan_BabaFX@Verydakman_ I really do pray Ibrahim gets Justice. This is very traumatizing. He didn't steal and he was basically set up by his friends.
Rest in Peace Ibrahim Mbaye. I pray the lights guide you home 🕊🕊✨️✨️✨️
The idea that every secular Nigerian song is obscene, or vulgar is completely dishonest, totally disingenuous and quite frankly false. It’s a terrible lie.
Timi Dakolo makes sensible secular music that moral/religious people can listen to and enjoy. His biggest hit songs are clean music with sane beautiful lyrics and masterful vocals. That’s a fact. No sensible person contests this.
Asa and Johnny Drille are two others that readily come to mind. The vast majority of their songs, if not all their songs, are secular, sensible, refined, decent and very pleasing to listen to, without any profane pollution.
The real problem is that ignorant pretentious moralists think the worst of everything and in their arrogant naivety assume that once a song is secular, then it must glorify yahoo, breast and weed.
So again, the idea that every secular Nigerian song is obscene, or vulgar is completely dishonest, totally disingenuous and quite frankly false.
Don’t let anybody bind your conscience with baseless nonsense that comes from the futile minds of hypocritical asceticists who wrongly assume that everything secular is automatically sinful- even when it is clearly not.
