The hectic preseason is finally over. 🫡

After weeks of hunting down obscure stats, digging through data and probably overthinking FPL way too much… it’s finally time for the real business. 😂

With the new season just hours away, we thought we would give you a little introduction to our page @Fpl_snip .

We’re two FPL fanatics with 10+ years of experience between us. One has his heart on Merseyside, the other bleeds Manchester red. Rivals, but never enemies. ❤️

We won’t pretend we have a Hall of Fame rank history. 😅 One of us managed an inside 50k finish in 2024/25, while the other somehow hit the Top 10 in a Gameweek during the Marko Arnautović rainy Stoke days.

We’re still learning and developing just like you, but we’ll put everything we’ve got into making @Fpl_snip a page worth following this season.

What early transfers are you planning at the moment?

I’m currently thinking of moving on from Mbeumo despite his big haul, mainly because of the difficult fixtures ahead.

These are the three players I’m considering under £8.0m 👀

I really want to bring either Palmer or Rogers into my side, but I’m thinking of waiting until after the Arsenal fixture before making any moves.

Elanga, Wirtz or Cherki — who are you going for?

I’m leaning towards Wirtz, to be honest. Unlucky not to get a double-digit haul last week.

Cherki has been superb, but I’m slightly concerned about his consistency and attitudinal issues off the pitch, while Elanga as a differential punt is very tempting too.

Can’t lie, this current Chelsea front three of Rogers — Joao Pedro — Palmer is giving me serious Mané — Firmino — Salah vibes. 👀

Pedro has a lot of Firmino-esque qualities in terms of his playing style, while Rogers and Palmer provide the threat from either flank.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see plenty of Chelsea triple-ups flying around in Wildcards. 🔥
