V, Dance Energy Explodes in Paris Back Alleys... Music Video-Style TikTok Video Released

V (Kim Tae-hyung) is garnering an explosive reaction from fans worldwide after releasing a fantastic dance video filmed in Paris.

On the 16th, V posted a 28-second dance video on his TikTok account (@/tete) with the caption "Lights off!" tagging six crew members, including dancer and video creator Dyson Campbell. In the video, V showcases choreography featuring controlled footwork and spins alongside dancers dressed in matching white outfits.

Reminiscent of a hip-hop music video, the video stands out for its cinematic direction and editing. The video is generating significant buzz, recording 9.7 million views and 4.8 million likes within just 21 hours of its release, along with over 97,000 comments and 323,000 shares.

The reaction from overseas fans was also enthusiastic. On X, comments such as "Not just anyone can dance like this, Taehyung is a true dancer" and "Insane synchronization and footwork" followed, along with praise like, "Everything is perfect, from the filming and choreography to the backup dancers and editing. TikToker Taehyung is back."

Another fan wrote, "Taehyung has returned looking cooler, more creative, and even more iconic." In the TikTok comment section, fans from countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Iran left supportive comments asking him to "please come to our country someday," demonstrating his popularity that transcends borders.

On the 6th, V also set a record by becoming the first male K-pop idol to surpass 75 million followers on his personal TikTok account. Approximately six months after reaching 70 million followers last January, an additional 5 million have been added, representing a growth rate of 7.14%. He also became the sixth male musician in the world to reach 75 million followers. @/BTSVChartData reported, "V is the first and only male K-pop artist to achieve this record, and he reached this milestone faster than anyone else in K-pop history."

Known for displaying an energetic presence even off-stage, he garnered attention last April by sharing photos of himself enjoying pickleball with member Jin during the tour; reactions suggest that this signature vitality is clearly evident in this dance video as well. Meanwhile, BTS will hold the final European performances of their 'ARIRANG' world tour at the Stade de France in Paris on the 17th and 18th.

This marks their first visit to Paris in seven years since 2019 and is one of the largest-scale performances within the current tour, which spans 79 shows across 34 regions.

As the timing of V's video release coincides with the upcoming Paris concert, anticipation for the tour is heightening even further among fans.
