COUNTER-STRIKE ESPORTS 🔫

Counter-Strike 2 is (hopefully) just around the corner. We are soon to say goodbye to our good ol' friend CSGO.

CSGO changed a lot - like a whole lot - for Counter-Strike as a game. So much, that not very much is as it was back in 2012 with the release of CSGO. Not the game. Not the communities. Not the eSports scene for @CounterStrike.

But one thing have not changed at all. Valve still does not provide their own eSports hub for Counter-Strike. Sure we got @HLTVorg which is great. But what about people who are completely new to Counter-Strike, both as a game, and as an eSports?

With Counter-Strike 2 it's clear that Valve try to make the game as newbie-friendly as possible. A complete change from CS:GO, where YouTube, Reddit etc. is a must if you want to know every aspect of the game and the settings. Wouldn't it then be in line with that approach, that Valve themselves, maybe together with a partner like HLTV, make their own eSports hub?

Valve have really put some work into changing the webpage for Counter-Strike. From the old blog which they have used for as long as I can remember, to a much more modern and user-friendly design. So clearly Valve were aware of the changes that were needed for their website.

With @DOTA2 Valve already-ish have such a page. At least for their own majors - even that we don't have for Counter-Strike - and if we take a look at Valves competition, Riot, they do a much better job at this with League of Legends and VALORANT.

But do we even need such a feature for the Counter-Strike website? Frankly I don't even know. As mentioned HLTV do a great job, even better if they eventually give the website an overhaul. Cause the design have not changed much in almost 6 years.

So bottom line - I think it would be a nice touch by @valvesoftware to bare minimum make a tab for their own Majors on the website. For people to see the schedules, watch the matches (through current providers on Twitch, YouTube etc.) and maybe some more. A bit like @BLASTtv already do - just by Valve.

Let me know what you guys think - if I'm crazy or you would like to see Valve put a bit more work into their webpages than just a plain blog of updates.

@KDue_CFC Er heller ikke meget for det - men Sanchez (selv med Cech-udklædning) er heller ikke dygtig nok til at holde os i toppen af tabellen en helt sæson.

@MadsGottlieb Kendelserne har været forfærdelige over hele linjen mod (næsten) alle hold i den her sæson. Klart rødt til Delap, ingen tvivl. Ændrer ikke på, at Tottenham har været et niveau under næsten alle hold i tabellen hele sæsonen igennem.

@ThourCS2 Actually a stunning map. This remake really shows what all the other maps in the pool are lacking. So much depth and life. Really amazing work by @FMPONE and Valve!
