It doesn't matter to me whether we run to set up the pass or pass to set up the run. But you simply can't be one dimensional in the SEC. We must have a run game to keep defenses honest, and that remains true even if we're averaging 3 ypc against a stout defense. But I do think we'll have more explosive run ability in '26.
@AlafrigginBama Agree. But while we had some areas there that needed to improve, & we appear to have, the biggest problem with the run game was that we were too quick to abandon it. In Atlanta for example, UGA's ypc wasn't greatly better than ours. But while we abandoned it, they didn't.
@AlafrigginBama We will have probably at least 5 WRs in the top rotation, so we're splitting hairs regarding the top 3.
BUT...while I seriously LOVE Rico, and think he will be very good, I wonder whether his recovery will create a window for CM to jump into regarding the 3 "starters."
Mayor of Charlotte, NC asks that we not post about this lady murdered on a Charlotte train by a repeat offender with 14 prior arrests
I say in Iryna’s memory please share and make this go viral! A repeat offender with 14 prior arrests should not be roaming the streets of ANY city! They should be locked up!! Epic failure in the justice system..
We will never forgot her ever
@ClintRLamb I think CM has a really nice year too though. These guys are both special, not just physically, but all the way around. I think Morgan stands a good chance to break into the starting lineup at some point this year.
@ClintRLamb I think they'll both have nice years. But I'll take the bait: Crowell. I think Dear becomes the starter, & Hill has a nice year, but imo he & Riley are cut out to be situational role players. Crowell has a skill set too good to keep on the sideline & is bright & mature for a TF.
@ClintRLamb@CoverCrimson Clint, the streak ends there but the story of Alabama winning championships with 1st yr QB starters is pretty crazy. Barker '92 was a 1st yr full-time starter; Shealy was in '79; I think Rutledge had started in '77 before the '78 NC, but UA had a case in '77; Stabler was in '65.
OC was the big problem.
Not the only prob, so don't get me wrong.
OL = prob RB = prob. But coaching was also a BIG prob.
I think Ryan learned some good lessons.
In the last UGA game, when UA abandoned the run, we had similar ypc to uga.
Difference? One team bailed, the other didn't.
@CrimsonCoverage There aren't many worth shedding a tear over there, but I don't have anything against them (there were a few troubled souls, but not many). I wish them well.
Caleb Downs was the biggest loss, but that had everything to do with Saban's retirement, & nothing to do with Kalen.

Former CDC Director Robert Redfield confirms - BY OATH - that they were hiding the side effects of the Covid-19 vaccines:
"There was inappropriate decisions by some to try to underreport any side effects because they argued that would make the public less likely to get vaccinated."
"One of the greatest mistakes that was made, was mandating these vaccines! They should have NEVER been mandated, they don't prevent infection, they DO have side effects!"
