Pope Leo XIV to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Holy See:
“It is painful to see how, especially in the West, the space for genuine freedom of expression is rapidly shrinking. At the same time, a new Orwellian-style language is developing which, in an attempt to be increasingly inclusive, ends up excluding those who do not conform to the ideologies that are fueling it.”
I have written to @chiefrabbi to offer my deepest condolences following the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach. I was saddened to hear of the loss of life and the injuries sustained, and I extend my heartfelt sympathy to the entire Jewish community.

Attended Field Marshal the Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank’s Requiem Mass this afternoon.
My parents lived in same block of flats with Charles and Kate, so I got to know them well. 🫡

This is a great picture and I’m all for promoting virtue, but where has this list come from? The 7 Virtues of longstanding Catholic Tradition are Justice, Prudence, Temperance, Fortitude, Faith, Hope and Love. Are you able to say who created this list? I’d love to know the source.
On this Armistice Day, officers and staff have paused to honour those who have died in warfare, that we might live in freedom and peace. The chaplains led services at various stations and specialist units (pictured is Ammanford and HQ). We will remember them.
@Jules56525 As I continue to work with many medal-wearing women who are courageous & diligent in their duties, I’m both saddened & disappointed that you’ve to justify the public & royal acknowledgment of your exemplary contribution to nursing. You don’t need me to be proud of you (but I am).
A privilege to be able to represent @DyfedPowys to @SJACymru as the Order acknowledges the hard work of its members and blesses a new ambulance for public use. Those newly invested were told “Remember the Cross you will receive is the sign of man’s redemption; that its arms symbolise the four cardinal virtues: Prudence, Temperance, Justice and Fortitude; and its points stand for the eight Beatitude, which spring from the practice of those virtues.”
