Since the launch of Fractal Bitcoin, on-chain activity has placed significant memory pressure on UniSat Infrastructure. Over the past two months, any single instance of our data query service has consistently consumed over 300GB of memory, compared to less than 64GB on the Bitcoin mainnet. In recent weeks, our infra team conducted in-depth optimizations, reducing memory usage by 70%-80%. The significant improvement has greatly lowered our maintenance burden and costs, enabling smoother on-chain data queries for Fractal Bitcoin.

With the optimizations on Fractal Bitcoin nearing completion, our infra team is now turning its focus back to the Bitcoin mainnet. In December, to actively support the BRC-20 upgrade on the Bitcoin mainnet, our infrastructure team has been collaborating with multiple BRC-20 indexing services to prepare for the upgrade. We’ve observed that these service providers are also actively working towards facilitating this upgrade. We deeply appreciate these efforts and are contributing our development resources to ensure the BRC-20 upgrade on the Bitcoin mainnet is realized as quickly as possible.
