Calling it "NO tax on tips" is misleading. At best, it means no federal income tax on tips, but workers still pay state taxes. $0.62 of every $10 in tips goes to Social Security, and $0.145 to Medicare, totaling 7.65% in FICA taxes. Cutting this signals future Social Security and Medicare cuts.
