I'll only beg you for RTs once very 3-7 years, and today's the day - on this one pls: https://t.co/lTC42IehEX
I've been working on this for almost half my career, and it all rides on how today goes. It means the world to us if you can grab it today specifically. ๐งก๐งโโ๏ธ
I have been moving, and I found my old Far Side books underneath the bed. If you are my age or thereabouts, nearly 25% are instantly memorable, nay legendary. It's the greatest single-panel strip of all time. But I think this might be the best of all, and if I'm wrong prove it.
Check it out!! We're honoured to be part of the first national funding round from @code_nz - such a dream to be included in this cohort of amazing teams. Congrats to everyone involved! Time to make some cool stuff ๐

We're looking for an UNREAL DEVELOPER to join the team on our first project.
This is a full-time, remote role - if you're interested in working with a small, tight-knit crew making something unusual, we want to hear from you!

@EerjkMcRaeOF I'm sorry if I misunderstood your point, but what were you calling a promotion of separatism in that case?
Might be best if we go our separate ways at this point though, since we're clearly not very receptive to each other's arguments.
No worries and have a good one! ๐๐
@EerjkMcRaeOF 1) Calling the current form of Mฤori electorates separatism is a weak and misrepresentative bit of rhetoric.
2) Mฤori can decide what's in their own best interest, and generally speaking Mฤori political groups have been in favour.
3) That doesn't rebut my any of my points so far.
@EerjkMcRaeOF The Mฤori text was still offered by the Crown, so ambiguities within it still need to be interpreted against the interests of the Crown and in favor of Mฤori. To interpret it to simply be assuring a minimal form of equality is a biased reading bastardising the truth for pol gain.
@EerjkMcRaeOF In that case however, if we're going by a holistic interpretation of the treaty and its ambiguities, we come back to contra proferentem, and any good-faith attempt at that provides significant guarantees of political authority for Mฤori.
@EerjkMcRaeOF I don't see how the treaty including "all other people" undermines the explicit provision of sovereignty/authority/chieftainship for Mฤori. Guaranteed Mฤori rep in govt is the bare minimum required to protect those rights. Anything less would make article 2 meaningless.
@EerjkMcRaeOF It totally does though, how else could "the absolute chieftainship of your lands, your homes, and all your treasures/taonga" be reasonably interpreted? It's a tricky topic, but at least this specific part of it is very straightforward.
