I have no problems with a law on death by dangerous cycling – everyone must obey the rules of the road.
But in 2022, 1760+ people were killed on UK roads – 3 involved someone being hit by a bike.
What’s the gov plan for stopping 5 people being killed a day by motor vehicles?
🩺🚴♀️💨 Inspiring to see nurses from Guy's and St Thomas' using e-bikes to see up to 10 patients a day. "It reduces the time it takes to get to my patients," says a community nurse.

Players and VIPs get ferried around #Wimbledon in electric SUVs, often getting stuck in traffic.
Not Cameron Norrie, the last Briton standing in the tournament. “I don’t own a car. It’s nice to beat the traffic and get a good warm up for sure.”
We've secured £5.8m to make it easier and safer to 🚴 or 🚶 for shorter everyday journeys

We'd love your help. We're looking to get women's views on cycling and have a short simple survey, that we'd love to get thousands of women to complete. There's a £600 bike voucher as a prize for sharing your views. With thanks #BikeIsBest https://t.co/s8lbLBIeHo
Intriguing new paper on e-bikes:
In the UK, replacing car trips with e-bikes could reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 24.4 metric tons/year. That's equivalent to ~1/5 the country's total CO₂ emissions from transport (source: https://t.co/mUWRY8gxzX).

A first in London, Camden is installing a cycle hangar (ie on street protected parking spot) specially adapted for a disabled resident. Adapted bikes can support overcoming disabilities and increase mobility in a more sustainable way. Congrats to Camden 🎉@Wheels4Well
