Here’s how fast ChatGPT is catching up to Google.
Google’s at roughly 13.7 billion searches a day.
If ChatGPT continues at this pace, it will reach similar volume numbers by 2030 to Google’s current daily searches.
Today we introduced Gemini Enterprise, built with our most advanced Gemini models. It allows you to chat with your company’s documents, data and apps as well as build and deploy AI agents, all grounded in your information and context.

Google is continuing to test additional description link variations based on the original experiment that started in May.
There are several new variations of this test featuring text such as a blue ‘see more’ link, a ‘jump to’ link, along with a ‘read more’ link.

Search is changing, but not just in the way most people think.
Sure, AI is disrupting it, but there is more to it.
People are actually changing how they use search.
Look at how people were searching on Google in 2024 versus 2025.
Because AI is providing higher-quality results, people are searching for more top-of-funnel and informational queries.
I bet we’ll see that trend continue in 2026.
Are marketers really using AI to automate?
We looked at pre-revenue startups to mid-size companies that generated 794 million dollars a year… as startups and mid-sized businesses tend to adapt faster than large Fortune 500 companies.
Only a small percentage of marketing work is done purely by AI.
The number 1 reason was “quality”.
¿Puede un simple anuncio de vaqueros activar una tormenta ideológica?
Sí. Y no por lo que dice, sino por lo que sugiere.

Vamos al lío ⤵️
Top 5 Digital Marketing Trends for 2025
Trend 1: Companies Will Start Doing SEO for all platforms, not just Google.
Check out how many daily searches take place on all the platforms.
45.1 billion.
Although Google is the leader, with 8.5 billion searches daily, it only controls 18% of the market share.
So, the new SEO will be “search everywhere optimization” instead of "search engine optimization."
Trend 2: Micro-influencers will boom
Paying someone with millions of followers doesn’t work well.
The ROI for influencers over 500k followers is -12.04%. While paying influencers under 100k followers creates a 36.71% ROI.
Trend 3: Marketers will shift their content creation focus
Most people focus on video content and text-based content.
However, look at the ROI potential by content type.
Content types like webinars, case studies, live streams, email newsletters, and podcasts have a high return on investment potential.
Trend 4: Companies will prioritize marketing for AI platforms
In 2020, we asked people how they find answers to their questions.
Almost everyone said search engines like Google.
We asked the same question in 2024. Roughly 30% of people use AI platforms like ChatGPT to answer their questions.
Companies have no choice but to optimize their content to show up on these AI platforms.
Trend 5: Companies will shift how they use content.
Historically, companies use content to build an audience on the social web or drive SEO traffic.
And although likes and engagement are cool, they don’t necessarily mean more revenue.
Check out the different content types and their effectiveness by funnel stage.
As you can see, specific content types, such as long-form videos or case studies, are more likely to encourage people to purchase. In contrast, channels like podcasts and short-form videos are great for building awareness.

SEO Case Study: CNN dominates searches for the '24 Election, one of the most competitive spaces in SEO right now. Here's a breakdown of how they do it:
In the middle of an election cycle, publishers are all pushing extremely aggressive strategies in order to maximize their visibility in search engines for queries around the election. This includes searches that are skyrocketing in demand such as "trump", "harris", "election 2024" and more.
Here's a complete breakdown of their strategies for how they do it:
