It's worth putting the Southampton penalty in some context. Chelsea were charged with something like 74 cases of financial impropriety, paying agents and entities off the books over a decade, and received just a fine. Manchester City have been found guilty twice by UEFA. Fined. They face another 115, well, maybe 130, additional charges from the PL. Guilt and penalty yet to be decided.

Roscommon is the only midland county in football with an identity. Convinced of it. A nothing place that I've endless admiration for.

Some awful towns. Went to a restaurant in Boyle once that hadn't been updated since the 1960s, Ballinlough is the single worst place in Europe. It is just a dull, unremarkable, nothing place.

But such a strong football identity and pride that rails against what it is, and what the rest of us in the midlands suffer. #mayo #gaa
