@bristolballoon @MissycardsUK @rosemfallon That's the thing, though. Most Bristolians won't necessarily know. They'll see sunshine and a gentle breeze, and think 'game on'. Communication needs to be clearer, and a lot earlier, so people DO appreciate it when ascents take place, instead of being angry when they don't.

@SteveHe10377952 @darren_m_sage @bristolballoon 2/2 Why not have several smaller funfairs at/near popular viewing points in/around the city? Promote them as fun events in their own right. Traders are happy, more people are able to go, and you reduce the annual traffic carnage. Focusing on one venue is the major problem here.
