@megabusuk No I gave up waiting for the megabus as you left customers stranded at Sheffield Meadowhall where the waiting area was shut so we all had to freeze outside and couldn’t even use the bathrooms. I had to find an alternative route to London.
Speaking of affordable theatre tickets:
@liftmusicalldn opens this week. We have a cast full of UKs finest current and upcoming talent performing an original British musical.
Previews are £16, dearest ticket across the run is £27.50.
Check it out! ☺️

THEATRE TWITTER RT PLEASE
After the sold out debut of “RepresentAsian: An Evening of Asian Talent”, I’m curating a SEQUEL! 21st and 22nd February in London.
Any Asian performers (singers, comedians, spoken word, TALENT?!) who are interested in performing, please get in touch!
It’s been such a journey. I also can’t believe I get to say I’m making a little history as the first Asian Elphaba on the West End. Which means so so much to my little Filipino heart 💚✨
Musical theatre is no joke. 8 shows a week is not a game. Those of you who are feeling overwhelmed you are not alone. What we do is a skill. And we are athletes. It was hard coming back after the pandemic. Be gentle and kind with yourself bc we can’t be perfectionist right now.
@deanjohnsonuk Yes others have definitely done that, but ABRSM have hugely revised their syllabi to make sure they are doing the same. I personally feel that if it is a teacher imposing ABRSM grades on a student who doesn’t want to do those grades, then the problem is the teacher and not ABRSM.
@deanjohnsonuk 2/2 Yes life isn’t all about assessment, but for those who would like assessments to make them feel a sense of achievement and progression (and earn UCAS points) it’s a system that works. The point is that it’s an option and not obligatory to take exams.
@deanjohnsonuk 1/2 I hugely disagree with this. Also ABRSM have hugely revised their syllabi for 2021 to include more diverse music. On top of also creating Jazz exams and Musical Theatre exams rather than just western classical music and classical singing.
