Four years ago, I didn't want to be here anymore. Then a feral, pregnant stray named Frances found a hole in my fence.

I made a deal with myself: if she kept showing up for food, I’d keep staying. One night she showed up injured, I brought her inside, and the very next day she gave birth to a litter of kittens live on stream to 500,000 people.
I couldn't bring myself to separate them, so now I’m a single dad to 8 cats (and a crazy tripod pup. But that’s another story)

Taking care of them saved me.
Today, that little hole in the fence has grown into something massive. We host a show called Cool Cat Stuff (https://t.co/QmEDfzAC2V) on @Amazon Live and we’re launching Vet Van Fleet (https://t.co/Aw1QI72rPr) —a nonprofit mission to provide FREE healthcare to cats everywhere and raise awareness for mental health in the vet med industry.

You'll never convince me she isn’t an angel in disguise. Because she absolutely saved me more than I saved her.

If you’re struggling to hold on, maybe try building something bigger than yourself. Oh, and keep your eyes open for that hole in the fence.

Because I was suspended a few months ago as well for this. I never left those comments. I’ve never recommended a library to anyone in my entire life.

No products. No sales pitch. No profit. Just a community pet supply pantry we're building right here in Pittsburgh, for the families who need it most.

The posts they flagged? Asking neighbors to get involved in something good.

The Free Pet Pantry needs your help — here's exactly what we need and why.

For those who haven't seen it: the Free Pet Pantry is a community pet supply structure right here in the neighborhood. The idea is simple — "take what you need, leave what you can." No applications, no gatekeeping, just neighbors helping pets stay fed and cared for.

We've had incredible support so far. The donation box is full, and the community response has been genuinely moving. But we've hit a wall that goodwill alone can't solve.

Here's where we are right now:

The pantries are currently sitting in the back of my truck under a tarp because we've been getting rained out. We're working with a company to weatherproof each unit and add proper roofing — but we need supplies to make that happen. We also need dispensers for open dry food and materials to prep additional units for distribution into other Pittsburgh neighborhoods.

I've already posted in the buy/sell groups asking if anyone has these things. Nobody does. Almost everything can be sourced from Marketplace, so your dollars go far — and if you'd rather purchase something directly and hand it off, I will absolutely coordinate that with you.

This is not a personal fundraiser.
Every dollar goes toward physical supplies for the pantry expansion — nothing else. I'm not profiting from this. I'm personally in the red on it. I just believe in what this is doing for our community and our animals.

I'm running on fumes. I'm broke. My ankles are already talking to me. I just woke up from a nap I didn't have time for, but my body took it anyway.
