👏After a strong advocacy campaign, the Safer Families Assistance payment has been reinstated! For the 2nd year in a row, this $2000 payment for people leaving violence has run out. It's time the funding envelope was sincreased to prevent others missing out in the future🏡👩‍👧‍👧

🍎The demand on emergency food relief at our Lanyon food pantry has ⬆️⬆️ since 2022. On one day, last month, we had 80 🧓👨‍👧ppl ask for help. Already, in the first weeks of 2025 - demand is up 30% on this time last year. The 2024-25 funding bump must continue into the future.
