If Keir Starmer had said before the election that he would remove the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners, punish the disabled with welfare cuts, enforce digital ID, appoint Peter Mandelson as UK ambassador to the US, sell out fishermen to the EU, give away £millions of money to overseas net zero and farming projects while hammering UK family farmers with inheritance tax, ban coal mines and new oil and gas licenses in the North Sea yet import £40bn of oil and gas from Norway (from the m North Sea), massively increase the national debt, increase the tax burden to record levels, increase the government deficit to record levels, destroy business confidence with national insurance increases, council tax & energy price increases, raise university tuition fees, transfer sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius and pay £35bn in the process, plaster mass-scale solar panels on thousands of acres of prime farmland despite huge local community objections, talk tough on sorting out illegal migration yet small boats crossings have reached record levels, spaff £30bn of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines, give £3bn a year of taxpayers’ money to Ukraine and ratchet up hawkish warmongering rhetoric and get exposed for receiving over £100,000 worth of freebies - he almost certainly wouldn’t have won. He duped the electorate. An utterly shameless display of snake oil political salesmanship. And still he lectures all of us in that gratingly sanctimonious manner of his like we are all somehow the problem here.

Ed Miliband has approved thousands of screws of mass-scale solar panels on UK farmland and ignored local community objections.

Solar panels shouldn’t be used on prime farmland. Instead, put them on brownfields, car parks, roofs and roads.

Safeguarding Minister @jessphillips tried to slip out a statement on grooming gangs to a near-empty Parliament. But it didn’t go quite to plan.

In what looked like a coordinated attempt to bury the scandal, Labour released the statement on short notice, hoping few would notice. But one MP did.

Conservative @Katie_Lam_MP rushed into the chamber and delivered a blistering, no-holds-barred response. Her words were unprecedented, cutting through the silence with the kind of truth that has been suppressed for years.

For six long years, I, and many who stood with me, have refused to stay silent. We’ve campaigned relentlessly to expose what was done to our nation’s children and the networks of political protection that enabled it. Now, the world is watching.

What’s playing out in Parliament isn’t just a scandal. It’s a reckoning.

Some desperately needed honesty on the rape gangs.

I'm just listening back to my conversation with "Steve" the Head of Customer Relations at @VirginActiveUK and it is jaw-dropping. When I asked if he had regard at all for women's safety he said "What I don't have regard for is you typing off notes to probably post whatever I say all over Twitter."

I have some work to finish but then I will post all over Twitter what Steve had to say. I have the evidence to back me up Steve so I can be accurate.

Including where he said women who weren't happy with men in their changing rooms were free to choose a gym with different rules.

I paraphrase Steve - "If you don't like men in your changing rooms you can fuck off elsewhere". He was keen to say "I didn't say that". Judge for yourself.

When I said I was concerned that men could access female changing rooms armed with Virgin Active policy where women would be naked, Steve replied,

"If you're concerned about our policy or usage then... I.. well... there's.. there are other health clubs with different policies. We always appreciate and respect people's opinions so.."

I asked, "So I can just go somewhere else? As a woman if I'm uncomfortable with men in my changing room I can just go somewhere else? Is that what you're saying?"

Steve replied "that's not what I'm saying - that's not what I said".

I clarified "you said other gyms are available so if I don't like the policy at your gym I should choose another gym. Is that what you're saying?"

Steve continued, "Yeah, all health clubs have policies and all sorts of different things and club rules and if people are uncomfortable with the club rules or policies of anywhere and any facility then they can not use that facility."

So there you have it ..... go elsewhere if you want a female changing room cos @VirginActiveUK don't want you.

When buying your gym membership check out if they allow anyone to Self ID into the womens changing room? Then decide if you want to get changed next to a male. If you don’t tell them & go else where. Uk law 100% allows for biological females to have their own changing facilities

1. Can you not understand why women may not want men--however they identify--in their toilets/changing and shower rooms in a gym? I am not asking whether you agree. I am asking simply whether you can understand why women would feel this way.
