I feel the opposite is true. Let’s say a couple gets together when they are 20 and now they are 60. Maybe the man wants something with another woman, but to abandon his first woman physically, emotionally, and financially shows his complete lack of empathy to the woman who gave him the best of herself over years.

Instead of cheating, y’all could literally just leave the relationship. Like, I promise you, breaking up is an actual option. If you’re unhappy, communicate. If your feelings have changed, be honest. If you want someone else, have the courage to walk away before involving another person in your mess. Nobody deserves to be lied to by someone they trust, especially while giving their time, love, and loyalty to a relationship they believe is real. You are allowed to fall out of love, but you are not entitled to betray someone just because you don’t know how to leave.
