Our partnership with the @WorldBank has never been more relevant. As we look to the future, we will continue to scale up and deepen our collective impact to make a difference in the lives of poor & vulnerable children & youth around the world.
#LeadershipMatters#foreverychild
Partnerships are essential to advance development and find solutions to global challenges.
Today, I met with @KittyvdHeijden & @UNICEF team to work on identifying opportunities for collaboration to create a world free of poverty on a livable planet for the world’s children.
🇩🇰 thanks @UNICEF and the Vice President and Treasurer of the World Bank, @Familiar_BM, for an interesting briefing on innovative financing.
We need to invest in the future, break the cycle of poverty and empower children and youth all over the world.

Surprise
Disturb
Seduce
Convince
And only then provide happiness

an hour before giving, individuals showed a marked increase in positive emotions, a phenomenon that they dubbed the “preheating effect.” Their findings also indicated that emotions quickly returned to neutral levels following an act of giving. #emotionraising

The average person starting a landscaping business or opening a bakery understands viscerally more about the power and purpose of capital than even some large nonprofit organizations.
Most nonprofit organizations hold it as a canon that they must operate in positive cash flow. They cannot conceive of negative cash flow, because they cannot imagine raising capital to cover the negative cash flow. But that application of capital is the only way to grow.
