Unpopular opinion:
You already own nothing. Property (including income/labor) taxes are just rental fees, which if gone unpaid leads to confiscation and the denial of using the property (including your body through imprisonment.)
5 year old Audi Q7 3.0L with no beans. You don’t say? Well there’s the problem. A tiny 3inch 90degree hose causing an under boost condition.
Cars today are such fragile things.
@n4hpg@FrankBr05713205 The Power Probe battery clamps and long extension lead are perfect for knowing you have a good known ground and power when doing bidirectional and bypass tests.
@FrankBr05713205 Great advice but you should always know the circuit you're testing. I use various incandescent bulbs .25, 2, and 4 amps for load and short testing eg checking to see if a blown fuse was due to a short that is still present.
@GuyDealership E/Parking brake, steering, and gear (P,R,N,D) selection should have driver operated mechanical connections. Redundancy sensors and secondary batteries to power them during a primary power failure are required for all these drive-by wire/software systems.
@MisterBungalow@attackackack They say they strengthen the head in the area and updated the manifold gasket for 21+ models. Also extended warranty for the affected years.
@MisterBungalow@attackackack Mazda has had problems with their '16-'20 2.5l turbo cylinder heads cracking at an exhaust bracket. I've seen a few of them with the mysterious coolant leak at the back of head.
@FenixAmmoHR Only worked on some seat controls and thermostats/water pumps on Cayennes, but I've seen my fair share of JLR gear selector problems. Start by making sure the TCU, PCM, and gear selector modules all agree in live data and all powers and grounds are there for the modules/sensors.
2005 Hummer H2 SUT
3 hours to diagnose, go go juice the throttle to limp her in, rack, replace the fuel pump, and out the door.
And this included fighting a broken tank strap nut.
@TFL1728 Gimmicky gadgetry and their network integration has gotten out of control in all brands.
What sticks out is Chevy being so high on list. The 6.2L has been grenading, but I don't know the sales % of those versus their other vehicles. JLR and VAG brands are absolutely no surprise.
